Lindsey Thwaites Supportive Coaching
I’m so glad you’re here.
I am a supportive learning coach who empowers kids and young adults with essential executive functioning skills and strategies, so they can build confidence, increase independence, and achieve long-term success- in the classroom, at work and in everyday life.
WHO I AM
Hi, I’m Lindsey Thwaites
With over 18 years of experience teaching students on the autism spectrum, I’ve developed and implemented a specialized social skills curriculum to support their growth and success.
Today, I draw on my teaching background and curriculum design expertise to coach and support young adults and children in building their executive functioning skills—helping them improve organization, time management, self-regulation, and independence in everyday life.
I love watching every individual grow more confident as they start to understand their own brains and build strategies that really stick. These skills don’t just help with school—they support every part of life. And the best part? I make the process feel approachable, encouraging, and fun.

OVERVIEW OF PROCESS
What to expect?
A supportive journey from start to finish.
From our very first call, I’m here to make this journey smooth and supportive for the individual I support and their family.
We’ll begin with an initial conversation to understand your goals, meet the learner, and set a plan in motion. Before sessions even start, I’ll take the time to gather insights and build a strong, trusting relationship.
Each session is an opportunity to connect, reflect, and grow—together, we’ll set meaningful goals, track progress, and build essential skills in a safe, encouraging space. In between sessions, I stay in touch to offer support, troubleshoot challenges, and keep the momentum going.
And when it’s time to wrap up, we’ll look back on how far we’ve come, celebrate the wins, and make a plan to carry that progress forward. It’s a full-circle approach designed to empower each individual every step of the way.

"My child didn't know his hidden strength until he started working with Ms. Thwaites and I didn't realize how much I missed his smile. Her ability to accurately assess his situation, understand his cognitive and physical needs, his emotional limitations and effectively implement appropriate supports wrapped in humor and warmth - lending itself to a comfortable teachable moment is like watching a flower bloom."
